Direct Marketing By Self-Experience | PRASATH.me

Dear Readers,

This Deepavali may not the one which is meant for me, and my family. So, instead of celebrating by having an Open House as ussual, which would probably make things worse by being in tears in memories of my dad, we decided to have a roadtrip up to north by visiting all my aunties house.

On the very Deepavali Day, we ended up in Penang, mom?s youngest sister house which is our common holiday spot over the last two (2) decades. Many memories and past times that we can always positively remember and this is where we believe ?we can slowly move on from the trauma that we have been facing lately, especially mom.

Okay! Okay! That isn?t the topic for the day I know. I am truly amazed about one thing. My Aunt recently has joined this firm called Tupperware which have a stock-listed products for household and daily use for all type of consumers. Just like Amway, Questnet, For Life, this is another distributor based firm which offers good and valuable products through their own perspective based on their company vision and mission. She have retired from her working life months back and decided to keep herself occopied by doing some part time earnings through this firm. We supported her, for her good, and for us too. And whichever we have bought from her has not failed us so far and I can assure you that these is something very important for a marketer?.. ?GOOD PRODUCTS.?

In basic, for any company that offers products on a direct marketing concept, which frequently updated catalogs with new arrivals and promotions, they have to ensure proper researches are done to ensure the brands that they are introducing are meant or meets the expectations of the consumers that they are targeting. As we say and define, ?Marketing is a process that offers what the consumers need and want. ?. This is the first step for a Distributor based firms to ensure before getting to the next steps.

Right, the first step has been more or less done. I am unsure about the marketing directions but I can see that they know what they?re doing and to measure them rightly, they?re expanding everywhere. They have a good recruitment scheme and rewarding plan for their successors.

My highlight, is more than that which is my Aunt!

Despite all the marketing assistance been provided by this firm, I am truly amazed to see her efforts which I believe have brought her to a greater stage within these months in this business. Firstly, her decent way of bringing the matter up as a topic on every single conversation we all have with her. Mind you that will not be an easy task to take on, as a simple mistake or ignorance maybe cause a big damage which may spread as a blue-printed virus which eventually will lead others to stay away. She made it so well, where no one that we know are afraid to see her, or reluctant about it which gives her a good mile-way to speak more about her product?s updates and increases her sales. Having said of her consultive-way of saying things, she made sure the whole family acknowledges and supports her in this business.

How do you expand the network within your line? Especially when you?ll be rewarded accordingly?

All I noticed were this, she encouraged everyone who is interested to purchase the products to join and gain some discounts and incentives by themselves. This is the trend of distribution marketing these days. The recruitment scheme has been formulated very well to enrich everyone?s rice bowl with no fail, at least for the next hundreds of newcomers.

The main point for the day, it was really nice to have your own product demonstrations in your home when you have guests coming over. This marketing concept were used before only by the very rich ones. They normally exposes the rings,?diamonds, famous paintings, ancient classic furniture and Interior Designers ideas. It was truly amazing to know when she used this similar concept in her home this time around through this very Deepavali. She have almost all the preliminary products for house use and gladly she didn?t really have to talk much about these brands.

All were to happen was, ? Hey, this is nice? Where did you buy it?? And there you go, her sales pitch starts??!

Based on what I heard from her sons, that tactics worked well, and the catalogs were well used on that day, and for sure she had good sales leads and potential recruitment to be made through this festive day. As a businessman, I see great future through this, and as a true marketer, I salute her for this. The concept explains that Network Marketing world should now learn something from her.
